We're reaching out because tomorrow at midnight marks our final pre-primary FEC fundraising deadline.

We know we've emailed quite a bit lately, but we set out to raise $30,000 in online contributions before this deadline and are still coming up a bit short. The next 36 hours is our LAST shot to demonstrate grassroots strength before the June 7th primary -- our first election in the newly-drawn 49th District.

When this report goes public, everyone will sift through the numbers carefully. Pundits will evaluate our performance to determine how strong the enthusiasm behind Mike is. Our Republican opponents and the GOP's super PACs backing them will look for signs of weakness to determine whether it's time to add more to their $1.6 million investment in TV ads against us.

There's a lot of pressure on our team these next 36 hours, but we're confident that we're on target to have a strong showing. We may not stop the Republicans completely, but we can certainly slow them down -- especially if we hit the mark on our $30,000 goal.
