Abby's opponent, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), has never been this vulnerable. He's facing his highest disapproval rating in nearly two decades, and only 27% of likely Iowa voters reported wanting to reelect him! I've lived in Iowa my whole life, and I've never seen anything quite like the energy on the ground right now. This moment is a truly incredible opportunity for Democrats – Abby in particular.

This isn't just about winning a critical seat for Democrats, although Abby has plenty of experience with that as the youngest woman to flip a House seat from red to blue. This is also about getting rid of a senator who has actively fought against progress for working Iowans; a senator who's worked to overturn Roe v. Wade and control women's health care decisions; a senator who defended Donald Trump's attempts to overthrow the election and then stood on stage with him in Des Moines to accept his endorsement.

Sen. Grassley is wrong for Iowa, and his leadership has failed us. With Abby in the Senate, working families would have a true champion in Washington. It's what they need; it's what they deserve – and, come November, it's what they're going to choose.
