John, we must take urgent action to stop armed extremists.
The shooting in Buffalo is the latest horrifying act of racist violence
carried out by a white supremacist, driven by hate and armed with a gun.
In an average year, more than 10,300 hate crimes involve a firearm—more
than 28 each day—in our country.
Guns are far too often the tools of extremist violence. They are a
recruiting tool and organizing principle—often getting people through the
door, or more likely, to an online meeting site to radicalize them.
Urgent action cannot wait. Armed extremists are bolstered by the gun
lobby's guns-everywhere agenda, putting our communities in danger of
racist and hate-fueled violence. And now they're more emboldened than
ever.
That's why we're working on every level—from city councils to the halls of
Congress—to stop the rising threat of armed extremism. And we rely on
grassroots supporters like you to power our work.

end gun violence in America.
Every western democracy has extremists. The difference in America is that
the extremists have easy access to guns. We must close the loopholes that
allow hate to get armed and demand that our lawmakers take bold action to
disarm violent domestic extremists and white supremacists.
When you make a grassroots contribution to Moms Demand Action and
Everytown, you're helping us take on armed extremism and fueling our
volunteer-driven movement for a future free from gun violence.
