In this divisive political climate, family holidays can be fraught with stilted conversation. While we can't change your family's opinions, we here at Team Biggan can help by providing a non-political topic of discussion!
Did you know that for a while, Texans celebrated TWO Thanksgivings?
That's right. Until 1956 Texans celebrated "Texas Thanksgiving" and "Roosevelt's Thanksgiving." "Texas Thanksgiving" was the last Thursday of November, regardless of whether the rest of the country celebrated that day.
Hopefully tomorrow you won't need this fun fact, but if you do, we are happy to have helped!
Happy Thanksgiving, from all of us at Team Biggan!
