As the midterm elections loom closer, it’s important to take a look at the bigger picture of our country as a whole and find ways to support Democratic candidates fighting in red and purple districts to gain or maintain their seats.

Lina Hidalgo ([link removed]) , the first and youngest woman, and first Latina (and Colombian like me!) to be elected as Harris County Judge in Texas is up for re-election! The Harris County Judge oversees a budget of $4.3B with a population of over 4.5 million.
