Opinion: Gov. DeWine’s schedule is also the people’s schedule - and needs to be treated as such
"One conceivable aim of DeWine’s administration: To conceal, in his daily calendar, what was discussed in certain meetings. One is a 2019 meeting with a FirstEnergy Corp. official before DeWine signed a $1 billion bailout – to be paid by Ohio electricity customers – of money-losing nuclear power plants then owned by a subsidiary of the Akron electric utility."

Team, since taking legal action against Governor Mike DeWine, we're still working on getting answers about his involvement in the FirstEnergy scandal, which hard-working Ohioans are still forced to pay $287,000 every single day for.
But here's the thing: The DeWine administration still refuses to take any accountability and is trying to ensure that DeWine's daily calendar remains concealed.
Cleveland.com’s Editorial Board is pushing for transparency and accountability from Mike DeWine because, as Ohioans, we have the right to know how our state is doing business.
Corruption and bribery at the expense of working people is unacceptable. Ohioans deserve leadership without exploitation – and we're fighting hard to make sure justice is delivered.
