St. Francis Wood and its History of Exclusion: A Walking Tour

Join neighborhood group Southside Forward for a walking tour through St. Francis Wood neighborhood. This area has recently been in the news due to seeking a Historic designation. Anti-housing activists have used these kinds of designations as a way to exempt rich neighborhoods from building much needed affordable housing. While it's sad to see, it's very much in line with the neighborhood's segregated past. Special guest Annie Fryman will be our guide to learn about the history of exclusion, in a neighborhood that seeks to avoid change.
