Recently, the Department of Homeland Security announced the creation of a so-called “Disinformation Governance Board” (i.e., a “Ministry of Truth”). While they claim it will combat Russian “misinformation,” its goals could be much more sinister.
 

The Democratic establishment, as well as some establishment Republicans, support this propaganda arm of the federal government because they’re afraid that we will think for ourselves. They’re afraid we’ll challenge their power.
 

We cannot let this administration continue to threaten our First Amendment rights and undermine our Constitution. I need your support to protect our fundamental freedoms.
 

This board is not unexpected. For years, the establishment has worked to shut-down alternative viewpoints. Now, we’re seeing these anti-democratic principles form the foundation of a government body.
