Our national demonstration at RAF Lakenheath is just four days away and we are asking our supporters for one final push to make sure the action is a success.
With just two days to go until our Crowdfunder ends, we have already raised over £6,000. That's £2,000 more than our original target! This will help us support local CND groups to travel to the base, print posters and leaflets, and to publicise the event. Any extra funds raised will help us do even more.
If you are still thinking of joining us on Saturday, you can find details on travel options from different parts of the country on our website. Those coming from London can purchase their coach tickets directly here.
Final details for the demonstration have been confirmed:
- Saturday 21st May, 1pm to 3pm
- RAF Lakenheath viewing area, off Wangford Road, IP27 0SJ
CND groups who can't make Saturday's protest are encouraged to have local stalls to raise awareness of US nuclear bombs returning to Britain. If you require leaflets on Lakenheath, please phone CND's head office to ensure they are received in time.
You can also download and print out a poster ( colour and black and white) and tweet a picture of you with it on Saturday using #RAFLakenheath. Those of you on Facebook can also share the protest's Facebook event.
