John, this is a pivotal moment in American history. For years, Democrats have warned that elections have consequences — recently, the U.S. Supreme Court made that explicitly clear.

Our only way forward is fighting for candidates at every level of government who will defend our rights and protect us from the dangerous path the Republican Party has chosen.

Elections matter, leadership matters, and what we do over the next six months will determine the future of so many issues in Connecticut.

Governor Ned Lamont just signed dozens of bills passed by our Democratic majorities in this year’s legislative session. These new laws are focused on bringing economic relief to Connecticut families, addressing the climate crisis, making our state safer, investing in child care and schools, and so much more.

And while the GOP’s nominee for governor Bob Stefanowski stays silent, Governor Lamont just signed one of the strongest measures in the country to protect safe abortion care.

That’s what leadership is about, and with your support, Democrats will continue leading Connecticut forward, not backward.
