Hi John,
This week, activists up and down the country are taking action against corporate courts, as part of a Europe-wide campaign.
We need your help to make this a huge mobilisation and ramp up the pressure against climate injustice.
Protest and talks are happening across the country and online (see all details below). Come along, meet local activists and join the call for an end to corporate courts.

Why is this a crucial time for action?
Corporate courts are threatening climate justice. Fossil fuel companies are using corporate courts written into trade deals to sue governments in secret tribunals for billions over climate policies. We need to take action to stop this.
Many of the fossil fuel companies are using the Energy Charter Treaty, which is a corporate court deal between 50 countries specifically for energy investments. Together with allies all across Europe, we’re calling on our governments to exit the Energy Charter Treaty. A crunch decision point is approaching in June, and we want to step up the pressure ahead of this with this day of action.

We’re joining with allies across Europe for an online rally to hear from inspiring speakers - Carola Rackete from Germany, Brenda Akankunda from Tanzania, Fernando Valladares from Spain, Camille Étienne from France and Jeremy Corbyn from the UK.
Due to so much interest, we've made more space available. If you weren't able to register over the weekend, our apologies for that - you can do so now.

Behind closed doors...
The government is using trade rules to make life easier for big business, stripping away standards that protect us and our world.
Regular gifts give us the long-term stability to plan effective campaigns for a more just world, as well as to react to damaging trade deals with speed and strength.
If you’re not already a member, will you join today?
