Hi, John -- ahead of Thanksgiving, or Thankstaking, or the National Day of Mourning, we wanted to share some of the shared resources we've compiled over the years of ways to learn more about and support Indigenous-led movements for justice.

.
Indigenous Solidarity Educational Resources
Instead of perpetuating a white supremacist colonial myth that is "Thanksgiving," try amplifying these stories and resources in support of Indigenous liberation and autonomy instead! (these resources are important year-round but especially as an organizing conversation piece during family gatherings!):

Upcoming RG webinars on land
This call is most relevant for people who have current or future access to land, property, real estate, and/or other ways of having control of land. In this call, participants will be invited to share stories around how we came to occupy the land we're currently on, and discuss practices for navigating the power dynamics associated with current or future property-owning settlers, while grounding in home with integrity.
There will be facilitated reflection and discussion on how we can intentionally cultivate the relationships and practices that transform land use and ownership so we can live in right relationship with the land and people in our homes. This intimate, storytelling based call will not be recorded, please plan to attend the call if you register.
Also, consider these small ways to take action with family:
- Give as a family to local Indigenous-led organizing.
- Give as a family to national Indigenous-led organizing such as Indigenous Environmental Network or NDN Collective.
- Learn together and do truthful storytelling about family and wealth history.
Thankful for so much, but especially this growing community of young rich folks committed to a future where wealth, land, and power are equitably shared.
In community,
The RG Team
