In these tough times, I wanted to share with you why I’m optimistic about our future.

In just three years, we have accomplished so much. We have strengthened our economy, expanded health care, fully funded public schools, fought climate change, and tackled a global pandemic better than nearly every other state in the nation.

But I’m running for reelection because there is so much left to do. And we’ve already made so much progress in just the last few months since I announced my plans for reelection.

We’ve launched a program to build more housing in Maine, and we've passed a budget that delivers free community college to Maine students and that delivers $850 relief checks to help Maine people deal with inflation.

Like I said, I'm going to have your back, and today, I’m asking you to have mine. We’re up against a tough fight, and if we lose here, we risk seeing all our hard-fought progress undone.
