Believe me when I say our way of life is under attack.

John,

With a pre-determined anti-mining outcome, the Minneapolis Star Tribune
produced an editorial that once again shows how they, from their downtown
Minneapolis offices, want to dictate our lives in northern Minnesota not
considering an ounce of concern toward our regional economy and the communities
that call that area “home.”

Predictably, the Minneapolis newspaper opposes mining but they even use
shallow DFL talking points attempting to make the case citing “big money mining
interests” as a reason to oppose.

Believe me when I say our way of life is under attack. I see it in Congress
every day and you can see it from the blame-Trump-for-everything crowd clinging
to an extreme, socialist agenda that promises to kill our mining and
manufacturing industry at every turn.

I won't let that happen.

But I need your help. Our November fundraising deadline is this Saturday and I
have to tell you, we are still short of our end of the month goal.
