I am a graduate from Winthrop University where I studied broadcast journalism and entrepreneurship. While at Winthrop, I served as an anchor and reporter for the Winthrop Close Up, a weekly news show. I was a freelance photographer and videographer with the ultimate goal to start a newsletter and website focused on arts and activism around the city. Though I still have that goal and do outside work, I decided to go for a full-time position after a summer fellowship with PublicSource. I'd learned so much over a short time, I was excited to see what possibilities were in store if I worked more closely with such a great team. I'm looking forward to contributing as much as I can and growing with what I consider a valuable source of news.
