As we gather for Thanksgiving and count our blessings, I am writing to thank you for your generous support of the House Democratic Majority to make the future better.

Thanks to you, last year Democrats unleashed a wave – a wave made of little droplets of water: little margins, enabled by everyone pitching in to do their part. Because of your courage, mobilization and engagement, House Democrats are well-positioned for victory one year before the 2020 elections.

In this Thanksgiving season, we must take the time to celebrate with our loved ones and thank God for our blessings.

The Bible’s wisdom in the Book of Ecclesiastes is echoed in the song “Turn! Turn! Turn!” by Pete Seeger: to everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. Let us take the guidance of the ancients and pop culture to recognize that this is a season to rest, relax and enjoy family and friendship.
