Today, Nancy Pelosi claimed that Democrats "will continue our work to lower costs for working families," as if she hadn't frozen the minimum wage since 2009 and given health insurance companies the power to arbitrarily raise premiums indefinitely.

Hypocrisy is frankly the least of it. Pelosi's corruption is arguably worse: this is a figure who personally profited from scarce PPP funds passed to support small businesses during the pandemic, and who has repeatedly filled her pockets through targeted tax breaks favoring herself and her wealthy donors.

How can so powerful a figure so shamelessly misrepresent the facts in public?
