A message from the Colorado Republican Party

Hello Colorado Republicans -

Saturday was a wonderful day in the San Luis Valley, as hundreds of Republicans gathered to hear from Congresswoman Boebert, raise money for six county parties, and listen to all of our statewide candidates. Our candidates have a plan to make Colorado safer again, to build back an affordable life for working families, and to expand educational options for all kids and all parents.

Operation Vamos also started in Colorado this week, as our Hispanic Engagement Director got on the ground -- knocking doors and talking to voters. If you want to connect with this effort, please go here and volunteer!
Our party is focused on the future, and our Commitment to Colorado is resonating with voters who want something different than the destructive Democrat control we're all suffering under right now.

Next week, I plan to share with you how our Republican Senators and Representatives fought for us every day at the Capitol during the legislative session. Even though we were in the minority, they won important fights and stopped several terrible bills. Future update emails will also start introducing you to candidates of the week, as campaigns across the state get rolling.

My video below is from the State Assembly, and you can hear my take on how we win back Colorado with a targeted message to voters.

Thanks for all your work...we're in this together!

Colorado tops in bank robberies in 2021; some blame fentanyl

Denver 7: Colorado’s FBI field office ranked No. 1 for bank robberies in the country in 2021.

Colorado Public Radio reports the state normally has between 110 and 120 bank robberies a year.

That number dropped to 90 in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns. But last year, it spiked to 195 robberies.

Law enforcement officials say fentanyl could be playing a role.

In the last few months of 2021, investigators arrested four suspects in more than 40 robberies combined.

Three out of four of those suspects told federal officials that they were supporting fentanyl addictions.

Rep. Buck: Poor policy driving high gas price
Fort Morgan Times: U.S. Rep. Ken Buck, R-Windsor, need not look further than his neighbor to understand the detriments that have been caused by energy policy in Colorado and Washington, D.C., he says.

His neighbor was previously employed by an oil exploration company in the Denver-Julesburg field.

“He was laid off as a result of Colorado’s policy,” Buck said. “Now, he travels to North Dakota for two weeks at a time, while his family continues to live in Weld County. This is a very difficult situation caused by the State of Colorado.”

Buck is a co-sponsor of a resolution in the U.S. House that would call for support of “safe and responsible development of energy resources” through drilling, an effort, the resolution reads, to restore a robust energy supply chain.

Biden's HHS Secretary Is Missing in Action As Baby Formula Crisis Worsens

Townhall: As the nation's baby formula shortage continues to worsen by the day, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra has been missing in action.

The former California attorney general, who has no health experience, only released a statement on the issue over the weekend.

Before leaving for Delaware on Friday, President Biden claimed his administration started working on the problem as soon as they became aware of an issue, implying they were caught off guard.
