But here’s the catch: Republicans are still fighting furiously in states like Florida, Louisiana, and Missouri to enact or protect rigged maps ahead of the midterms. And operatives like Chris Christie and the head of the Republican State Leadership Committee have implied they’re targeting state courts in an effort to remove any obstacles to their gerrymandered maps.
