The January 6th Committee recently made a major announcement: Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, Mo Brooks, and Scott Perry have been formally subpoenaed to testify about their role in inciting the Capitol Insurrection.

This is the first time in history that a congressional committee has subpoenaed fellow members of Congress. McCarthy, Jordan, and the rest have been ignoring the Committee’s voluntary requests for cooperation for months. They are widely expected not to comply with these newest subpoenas either. 

We know what that means: The 147 will go to any lengths to delay the enforcement of these subpoenas until after the 2022 election. It's now certain that McCarthy will shut down the investigation if they win back the midterms and bury the truth about his role in the Capitol Insurrection.
