I want to take a minute to tell you about a progressive champion out of
North Carolina, Erica Smith. A pro-choice pastor and former State Senator
raised on a rural family farm, Erica is a fierce supporter of a person’s
right to control their own body. She has been endorsed by the Planned
Parenthood Action Fund and NARAL Pro-Choice America. As a member of the
Congressional Progressive Caucus, I’m happy to give her my full support.

But she faces a strong anti-choice competitor. State Senator Don Davis, a
conservative Democrat who voted in favor of a budget bill defunding
Planned Parenthood and other anti-choice legislation.

The primary election is tomorrow and Erica needs our help. [ [link removed] ]Will you
split a donation between our campaigns so Erica can help protect the right
to choose nationwide?

We need pro-choice champions like Erica in Congress to safeguard
reproductive rights at such a tenuous time.
