Just before shooting 10 people in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Buffalo, NY, on Saturday, Payton Gendron posted a 180-page violent, white supremacist manifesto online.(1)

Gendron's deadly rampage was fueled by “replacement theory” -- and no public figure has promoted this bogus white supremacist thought more than Tucker Carlson.(2)

For years, Carlson has used his platform of millions of viewers to claim that white people are being purposely “replaced” by people of color, and there is no question that Gendron acted on this white supremacist conspiracy when he targeted a predominantly Black community.(3)

Fox "News" has refused to rein in Carlson and the rest of its white supremacist crew, and the whole network needs to go.

Sign our petition calling on Comcast, Charter, and other cable companies to hold Fox "News" accountable and suspend the network immediately.

It’s not just Buffalo that suffered violence from “replacement theory.” The 2019 shooting at a mosque in New Zealand and the 2018 shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh were both inspired by this hateful rhetoric.(4)

And Carlson is largely responsible for taking “replacement theory" mainstream. The Washington Post had already noted before Gendron’s mass shooting that “Tucker Carlson has been especially aggressive about promoting this idea.”(5) Just two weeks ago, the New York Times covered how Carlson is stoking white supremacism -- an article that Carlson proudly displayed while laughing on Twitter.(6)

Fox "News" has had ample opportunity to stop Carlson’s white supremacist media machine, but instead has doubled down on him. Not only did the communications office of Fox "News" reject the notion that Carlson was to blame for the shooting, the entire network ignored the incident entirely, refusing to give it more than cursory coverage while it was the main story on every other network, and not giving one mention of the shooter’s manifesto.(7)

Grassroots energy was able to kick Donald Trump off Twitter, and One America News Network off satellite television, and now we need to convince Charter, Comcast, and the rest of the cable networks to deplatform Fox "News" now.
