For years, Democrats have been telling you to vote for them because they will protect the right to choose. Then, with everything on the line, a Democrat in the Senate votes against a bill that would codify Roe v. Wade.
It's so hard to not feel disillusioned after that.
But here's the thing. If Republicans win a majority in the House and a supermajority in the Senate, we won't just lose abortion rights at the federal level. We'll be living in a country where abortions are illegal everywhere.
