I know this is a busy and challenging time of year for everyone, so I won’t beat around the bush: I need your help today to keep our campaign going strong.
I need to raise $9,000 in the next few days to hire staff for field work, to make ad buys, and to put gas in the tank to keep driving all over the state and listening to Iowans. Unlike the Republican incumbent and one of our primary opponents, I don’t take money from corporate lobbyists or corporate PACs.
I won't pretend that coming up short of this goal will force me out of the race, but it will leave me at a severe competitive disadvantage. I'm convinced that the only thing that can beat Joni Ernst is a populist, progressive message. Without proper funding, I cannot spread a progressive message throughout Iowa. So, if you want a strong progressive in the race, I really need you to step up now.
