We don't have to tell you that this is just the latest in a long string of instances of Donald Trump wantonly overreaching as president and meddling with military affairs.

Since he's come into office he's gone against Pentagon leaders in a slew of important matters like:

Abandoning our allies, the Kurds;
Banning transgender people from service in the military;
And funding his wall by attempting to reallocate funding for military families.

Trump's actions have only underscored the fact that he himself is a national security threat.

And with members of the Senate like Thom Tillis, Martha McSally, Cory Gardner, Mitch McConnell, and others who are more interested in coddling Trump than holding him accountable, it's up to us to demand and create the change we want to see.
