Primary season is in full swing and I know your inboxes are going to be flooded with more and more emails, text messages, and requests for donations, all competing for your attention.
I know these emails can be a little repetitive, but to be blunt -- there is too much on the line to sit this primary out.
Abortion could be criminalized in half the country soon, Republican efforts to sabotoge democracy and restrict voting rights are rampant, and working Americans are struggling to pay their bills.
I know there's been a lot of bad news lately. But when I find myself getting demoralized, I go back and think about the massive mobilization and organizing efforts that turned out millions of people to create the Blue Wave in 2018 and defeat Trump in 2020.
John, we must do it again. Republicans like Mike Garcia are doubling down on their extremism, now we have to double down on making sure we bring on the Blue Wave in 2022. We were so close last time, just 333 votes short.
I'm a little concerned, because our campaign just isn't seeing the numbers we saw in 2020. It's going to take an even bigger turnout to maintain Democratic control of the House and Senate. I know we can do it, but we cannot slow down now.
