In Arizona, life is one of our most sacred values. From the lives of the preborn, to the lives and livelihoods of those who put themselves in between us and those who want to destroy us, it’s my most sacred duty as a public servant to defend them.
A lot has happened this month so far in the fight to defend Arizona’s values and lives. Since day one of the Biden administration, I’ve been fighting the President’s and Mark Kelly’s radical open border policy. They handed our state over to the Cartels, but I’ve been striking back. From defending Trump’s border wall and Remain in Mexico policy, to the Public Charge rule and Title 42, nothing that Biden has done in Arizona went unchecked.
Title 42 is particularly important for Arizona. During the Trump years, our border was in decent shape. We were at war with the Cartels, we were building a wall, and migrants knew that Trump wasn’t going to sit back and wait. He took action and took border security seriously. It worked and Arizonans were delighted that someone came to our aid.
The very day Biden took the White House, the Cartels knew America was open for business. The Biden administration rolled back every Trump policy defending us and announced they were halting deportations. Illegal crossings immediately spiked. In just the first year of the Biden administration, more than four times the number of migrants have crossed the border than in President Trump’s entire term.
Revoking Title 42 is just the most recent step from the radical left to transform America—and they openly admits it. The Biden administration said they “expect” a massive migrant surge when the title was rescinded. This Trump era policy gave our border patrol the tools they needed to expedite deportations. During the COVID-era the most deportations occurred under Title 42. It was essential to defend it. So I did. We were granted a temporary restraining order, twice halting the end of this program, but this week we expect a final decision. Right now it’s more critical than ever that we make our voices heard. I hope you’ll join me and the BrnoBrigade as we fight for Arizona’s security.
