Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Did you see the email below from Rick and Leonard?
Early voting starts today and we need as many volunteers as we can get to reach our union brothers and sisters and ask them to vote for our Texas AFL-CIO COPE endorsed candidates.
Can you join us for this important event and volunteer to make calls? If so, click here to register.
I hope to see you on Zoom at 5:30 PM tonight!
In solidarity,
Emily Amps
Director of Politics & Policy
Texas AFL-CIO
P.S. Please vote! Early voting runs today through Friday and Election Day is Tuesday, May 24. For locations, visit votetexas.gov.

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
We’re down to the wire – early voting for the primary runoff election starts next Monday, May 16 – and we need your help to get our pro-labor, pro-worker candidates across the finish line and on to the November ballot.
For the past few weeks, union members in targeted districts have been knocking on doors, making calls and writing postcards in support of our endorsed candidates who are running to give working Texans a fair shot.
They’ve contacted thousands of our union members, but there’s still much more work to do, more union members to contact, and we need your help!
Today, we’re asking you and our other brothers, sisters and siblings from across Texas to sign up and join us for one or both of our virtual phone banks. Register by clicking here.

This will be a low turnout election, which means if we get our members out, they will have an even bigger impact on the outcomes – every call counts.
We hope you’ll join us!
In solidarity,
Rick Levy and Leonard Aguilar
P.S. If you’re unable to attend our virtual phone banks, but still want to help, email Lorraine Montemayor at [email protected]!
P.P.S. The top three callers each night will receive Texas AFL-CIO swag!
