We have to say no to Big Oil’s newest greenwashing trick by passing SB 1314, friend.

The fossil fuel industry’s latest climate-delaying tactic is to drill for more oil using carbon captured by technology and call it climate action!

I know, it’s unbelievable. We have to do something about it.

We’ve had enough of Big Oil greenwashing their delay tactics to make them sound palatable to the public. “Enhanced Oil Recovery” — drilling for more oil using carbon captured with technology — doesn’t even pass the smell test to count as climate action. This is why we need your help to pass SB 1314, which will ban the oil industry from using captured carbon to drill for more oil!

Here’s what we’re going to do, friend: We’re going to pass Senator Monique Limón’s bill to make sure, once and for all, California is saying no to Big Oil’s greenwashing.

Call your State Senator today to pass SB 1314 to ban Big Oil’s greenwashed plan to drill more oil so that we can focus on proven climate solutions like clean energy >>

Friend, we are full speed ahead to act boldly enough on climate before the 2030 deadline. The fossil fuel industry’s farcical approach to “climate action” will only lock in a long-term dependence on oil and gas that will continue to pollute communities.

Let’s not let Big Oil distract us from our mission.

Your State Senator works for YOU — tell them what Big Oil is trying to do and tell them that they can stop it by voting YES on SB 1314.

Together, we can pass SB 1314 and reject Big Oil’s greenwashing.
