Here’s the deal: We could be facing failed former Governor Pat McCrory who signed HB2 into law — costing North Carolina billions and harming our LGBTQ+ communities. Or it could be DC insider Rep. Ted Budd, who Trump endorsed in return for rubber-stamping his far-right agenda including voting to overturn the 2020 election.
Either of these guys would be bad news for North Carolina and our democracy, but together, we can make sure they don’t get anywhere close to the Senate.
Three different polls — including one released just last week — have now shown Cheri in a statistical tie with both of our potential opponents. So with the general election about to start, this is an all-hands-on-deck moment:
North Carolina is one of Democrats’ only chances of picking up a seat and expanding the Senate majority in November. That is our best hope to finally deliver meaningful change for our families.
