Team —

Some people are telling me to calm down.

They say that the idea that Trump is scheming to rig the next election is “overblown.” They swear that January 6th was an aberration, the actions of a few misguided extremists. They tell me that, even if Trump wanted to install loyalists as secretaries of state, he surely couldn’t pull it off.

Look, I hope those folks are right. But I deeply fear that they’re once again underestimating what the other side is capable of. That’s why I’m not going to shut up about this.

I don’t want to wake up three years from now and wish we took this threat more seriously when it still mattered — chip in right now to support The American SOS Project’s efforts to make sure Trump loyalist candidates lose:

I’m not the only one alarmed about the threats facing our democracy. President Biden put it this way: “We’re facing the most significant test of our democracy since the Civil War.”

Across the country, Trump’s allies are changing election laws to make it harder to vote, especially if they suspect you might support Democrats. And Trump has hand-picked candidates for secretary of state who he wants to oversee the elections in states like Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona.

Maybe some people can sit back and watch this happen and just hope they don’t succeed. But you know me: I’m not one to take lightly to this open animosity toward our democracy.

If Donald Trump thinks he can reinstall himself in the White House in 2024, he’s gotta go through me first. And I need people like you with me.

Make a donation to help The American SOS Project take on races in key battleground states this year, and let’s stop Donald Trump and his stooges in their tracks:
