Dear Jack,
We’d like to invite you to a unique livestream taking place this Thursday May 19 at 12.30pm Eastern/ 5.30pm UK to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the demarcation of the Yanomami’s territory in Brazil.

The legal recognition of the Yanomami’s land on May 25, 1992, was a huge success for the tribe and the international campaign that Survival and allies supported. But the current situation inside the territory is extremely serious - with over 20,000 illegal gold miners polluting the rivers, bringing violence and disease, and acting with impunity due to President Bolsonaro’s anti-Indigenous policies.
Survival’s Fiona Watson will be live from the Yanomami Hutukara offices in Boa Vista, Brazil; she’s been closely involved with the Yanomami and their struggle for over 30 years. Fiona will be sharing memories from the fight for demarcation & talking about the challenges facing the Yanomami today.
And we're hoping to be joined by Yanomami friends as well!

Register here to join the livestream on Thursday May 19 at 12.30pm Eastern/ 5.30pm UK and come ready with questions! The event will also be streamed live to Facebook.
We look forward to seeing you there.
