Thanks to your support, we were at the forefront of the critical fight to win back power in Virginia earlier this month. Now, we're building upon that success and taking the lessons of that fight to Florida.

Today, we're thrilled to announce a new partnership with former Mayor of Tallahassee and Florida gubernatorial candidate, Andrew Gillum.

As I told Politico (politico.com/states/florida/story/2019/11/27/gillum-and-democratic-super-pac-team-up-in-uphill-battle-to-flip-florida-house-1229891): "Florida has been very much on our list and in our sights since we started." While Republicans are spending "an insane amount of money" in key state legislative races to preserve their majorities, "Democrats are spending almost nothing." It's long past time progressives started playing the long game in this critical battleground state.

With a trifecta of control over both chambers of the state legislature and the governor's mansion, Republicans have succeeded in implementing their extreme agenda in Florida. They've done it all with grave national consequence: gerrymandering and voter suppression in the nation's largest swing state that has narrowly decided presidential elections.

2020 is our last chance to break the Florida GOP's trifecta before redistricting. Join us along with Andrew Gillum in the fight to retake the Florida State House before it's too late.

In 2018, we invested in making gains in the Florida House at a time when few thought progress was possible and flipped 7 GOP-held seats. We have a path to power in the Florida House. Democrats are just 14 seats away from a majority and Gillum carried 9 of these currently held GOP seats in 2018.

If we invest real resources and energy in these state house races the way we did in Virginia--we can win in Florida too.
