Fighting for the times we are apart and together.
I believe the best time we can have is one we can share together. Growing up poor, you learn to care about connections more than collections. What you have is more important than wishing for what you might get.
As I spend the next few days in the close embrace of family and friends, I will still keep thinking about fighting for the people of the United States.
