John,
With the matching gift deadline rapidly approaching, we are providing you with an update on our progress to the goal.
So far, we have made great movement towards our goal of raising $250,000, all thanks to supporters like you! But we are still short of our target, and we can’t afford to pass up this opportunity.
That’s why I am reaching out to you again, to urge you to contribute so that we can reach this important goal.
John, will you do your part to create parks and protect public land by making a generous tax-deductible membership gift that will be matched dollar for dollar?
Reaching this goal means:
- Funding projects that provide public access to quality outdoor recreation areas and protect the natural resources of these spaces, like we did in Hubbard County, Minnesota.
- Transforming vacant schoolyards into vibrant public parks for students and the neighboring community through our Community Schoolyards™ initiative.
- Ensuring everyone has a high-quality park within a 10-minute walk of home—such as our Urban Orchard project in Southern California.
And, as you know, all of this work is vital to the success of our aggressive five-year plan to conserve 1 million acres of land, protect 1,000 miles of rivers, and build or connect 1,000 miles of trails across America—all by 2025.
This is why it’s so important we reach our goal by the upcoming deadline, John, especially since all gifts are matched until May 27!
That means your tax-deductible membership gift of $25 will grow to $50. Your donation of $35 will become $70. And your $50 contribution will double to $100.
Plus, every $1 you donate will save $11 worth of land. John, that means you can turn every dollar into saving $22 worth of land!
Time is running out so please give today, while your tax-deductible membership gift will be matched dollar for dollar.
Sincerely,
Barry Hirsch
Director of Membership
