This Week: NAFCU advocacy remains engaged during HFSC markup on key CU-related bills ([link removed] )

Tomorrow, the House Financial Services Committee will convene for a markup to discuss three bills that affect the credit union industry. NAFCU will engage Congress and continue to advocate on behalf of credit unions and their 130 million members.

HFSC AI Task Force discusses granting the NCUA with third party vendor authority ([link removed] )

The House Financial Services Committee Task Force on Artificial Intelligence (AI) held a hearing examining the use of AI within regulatory technology for the financial services industry Friday, where NCUA Director of the Office of Examination and Insurance, Kelly Lay, argued for the NCUA to gain additional authority to examine third party vendors.
