John, I’m reaching out early this morning so you can hear the news from me:

With a heavy heart, I am ending my campaign for Florida’s 13th Congressional District.

This was not a decision I made lighty. It’s been the honor of a lifetime to campaign and walk alongside the people of Pinellas County for what I know they deserve — real results from their leaders and someone who will fight for them.

John, I am so thankful for your support of my historic, people‑powered and people‑centered campaign. Every dollar donated, every door knocked, every phone call made means the world to me.

But our movement doesn’t end here. I’m proud to announce that I will be running for re‑election in Florida State House District 62!

Now more than ever, we must combat Republican forces in our state tearing down our fundamental rights. Access to abortion and reproductive care, protecting LBGTQ+ rights and ending the harmful “Don’t Say Gay” bill, and so much more is on the line — standing up to Ron DeSantis and his MAGA army's hatred is worth the work.

I hope you stay involved in this critical time for our community and our democracy. The stakes are sky‑high, and I’m energized to continue the fight alongside you.
