With Thanksgiving nearly here, I wanted to pause for a moment and thank you for all your support. This work is draining and heart-wrenching – but it's how I honor my beautiful butterfly Dylan, and that's only possible because of people like you.

In a few weeks, we'll mark seven years since I last held my baby boy in my arms. Some days it feels like so long ago. Some days it feels like no time at all.

As hard as this work can be, the commitment of people like you helps keep me going. Because of your generosity and support, we've been able to avert multiple other school shooting threats. We're building a legacy for Dylan and protecting other families from the unbearable pain of losing a child to gun violence. We're saving lives.

I'm incredibly grateful for everything you do for Sandy Hook Promise, so I wanted to share some stories from the past year that show just how much we've done together – and how much we still can do:
