I have some good news and some bad news for you.
First, the good news: We were the first Senate campaign in the country to release a new TV ad blasting Ron Johnson and the GOP's attacks on reproductive freedom. Our latest ad campaign is a key part of our voter outreach strategy that will help us flip this seat from red to blue and expand our Democratic Senate majority. Even better news: The Washington Post reported that I’m “the best chance to rid the Senate of Ron Johnson.” And the most recent head-to-head survey from a top-rated FiveThirtyEight pollster shows I’m the only Democrat who can defeat him in November. Our momentum is growing — we see it in the polls, the press, and the energy on the ground. Everywhere I go, people tell me how fed up they are with this guy, and it’s clear our message is resonating. Now, here's the bad news: The latest ActBlue report shows us tracking behind our Q2 fundraising projections by about 12%. Look, these goals are not arbitrary — we need to meet every single one of them in order to stay on track for our mid-FEC deadline. I’m hoping at least every one in three people who open this email will make a contribution. This is the most important financial quarter for the campaign so far, and there’s not a lot of time left for us to catch up before we reach the halfway point. Can I count on you to be one of the grassroots donors we need to step up today? Here’s your personal donation link: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/godlewski-may22&[email protected] Our campaign isn't taking a dime from corporate PACs. In fact, the vast majority of our donations come from messages like this one. This grassroots team has always risen to the occasion, and I believe we can do it again and continue to put ourselves in a strong position to defeat Ron Johnson. Thank you, as always, for taking action. — Sarah Godlewski
