I need to put our race in perspective for you.

State-wide, there are nine seats currently held by Republicans, or open, that are more Democratic-leaning than ours. In fact, in 2020, President Biden LOST here by about 1%.

I’m the only Democrat in the state in this situation. The next closest Democratic-held seat was won by over 5,000 votes in 2020. This is the race where we hold the line and prevent a Republican super-majority in our state.

In 2020, in what was considered a “good” year to run as a Democrat, we lost FIVE Democratic incumbents because they were thought to be “safe” and attention was paid instead on flipping seats that never materialized.

We cannot make that mistake again, we won in a “good” year by just 1,270 votes out of over 90k votes cast. This is not looking like a “good” year to run as a Democrat. Which is why it’s even more important we double down early and run a strong campaign.

I intend to win. I have a plan to win and I will do my part. But I NEED YOU with me!
