Back in 2020, my Republican opponent spent over $4 million to try and stop
us. Not only that, but Fox News talking heads, top Trump advisors, and
Trump himself did everything they could to try and smear my name and
spread lies about our work.

They weren’t able to overcome our people-powered movement two years ago,
but this cycle we have a different kind of challenge than we had before.

I’m running in a new district, and tens of thousands of voters who have
never seen my name on the ballot are seeing it right now on their mail-in
ballots, and others will see it on Election Day. That’s just three weeks
from now in the California jungle primary. We need to finish strong in
that race, because immediately after our primary, we begin the general
election campaign and redouble our efforts to defend the House majority
across the country.

While this gives me the opportunity to represent tens of thousands of new
constituents, it also gives the GOP an opportunity to use misinformation
to paint a false picture of me. I’m going to be counting on your help in
the months ahead.
