This week, Senate Republicans blocked the Women's Health Protection Act from becoming law, legislation that would have codified Roe v. Wade into federal law.

It's clear that a 50/50 Senate is not enough, and expanding our majority is the only way forward. That's why it's crucial we elect Tim Ryan in November.

Tim Ryan will ensure that Ohioans have the right to safe and legal abortion. His opponent, J.D. Vance, has relentlessly attacked reproductive rights – and even called rape "inconvenient" when asked if he would support prohibiting abortion in cases of rape and incest.
