Hey, Jack! 

On my end, this has been a *wildly* busy month.

I drove 753 miles to visit voters in Southwest Arkansas last weekend. I walked the stage for my Masters in Social Work yesterday. I also graduated from the Emerge 2022 candidate training program and the school year is coming to an end for my kids. Vote Common Good recognized me as a candidate for Common Good. The Progressive Arkansas Women PAC endorsed my campaign for Lt. Gov. And I talked to THOUSANDS of voters about the issues they care about and why I'm running.

Then in the middle of all that, our fears that reproductive freedoms are on the line were confirmed -- and we saw that SCOTUS has a draft to overturn Roe v. Wade.

In Arkansas, we have teenagers and young adults who don’t understand how someone even becomes pregnant. Our access to sex-ed is virtually non-existent. Lots of people don’t have forms of birth control to not only prevent unplanned pregnancies, but also protect themselves. And we’re one of the most hostile states for people needing reproductive care, and abortion would be banned immediately (due to a trigger law) if Roe v. Wade were overturned.

That’s all to say, this month has been a lot. For all of us. And sometimes it’s okay to stop and take a breath.

So I wanted to take a moment to just say thanks. Your support and encouragement keeps me going. Last night we came *super* close to hitting our mid-quarter goal and during times like these, it feels so good to know I have people like you committed to the fight for a better future.

We’ve got a lot of work to do, and I'm glad you're here with us.
