John, Last night, the Minnesota Republican Party endorsed a candidate to run against Lieutenant Governor Flanagan and me. We always knew we had a tough fight ahead of this year — polling shows the endorsed GOP candidate is already statistically tied with our campaign. And the stakes in this election are too high for us to lose. The same Republican Party that forced out my commissioners for political sport during the height of the pandemic, relentlessly spread dangerous misinformation about COVID-19 and vaccines, and introduced a Texas-style abortion ban on the very first day of this year's legislative session wants to take us backward. Reproductive rights, abortion access, paid family leave, fully funding our education system, voting rights, the safety of our LGBTQ+ kids, and so much more are all on the ballot this November. Lieutenant Governor Flanagan and I are traveling across the state, listening to Minnesotans about what's most impacting them. We've accomplished a lot together over the past several years, but we have so much more to do. And we need to win in November to continue moving forward. That's why I'm following up this morning to ask for your help. I just spoke with Berrett, my campaign finance director. He says we still need more than 500 people to step up by midnight to hit our individual contribution goal. The coming months will test us like never before, John, and Lieutenant Governor Flanagan and I are counting on you to stand with us in this critical moment to prove that our campaign for One Minnesota is stronger than ever. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: I’m grateful, Tim Walz
