A poll of my race shows the numbers are close (I'm just a few points behind Marco Rubio!). I need to surge ahead, friend – and the only way to do it is by hitting my $75,000 Mid Month fundraising goal.

Running a campaign in Florida is expensive – and Florida's last Senate race was decided by just 0.12 points (10,033 votes), so every dollar will make a difference. With Rubio and the GOP having more than $43 million at their disposal, missing my goal could cost Floridians and our country a meaningful win.

Grassroots supporters like you propelled my campaign launch to historic heights. Your support fueled The Cook Political Report to increase my odds of winning. And this grassroots team is the reason political pundits across the board are saying I have what it takes to defeat Sen. Marco Rubio.
