Donald Trump’s return to Twitter would only add to the misinformation being spread about our elections and public officials.

He and his ultra-MAGA cronies are almost guaranteed to incite even more violence on the Internet.

Trump’s track record on Twitter is nothing short of abysmal. From glorifying violence to spreading harmful misinformation, Trump has done nothing but use Twitter as a platform to bolster the radical right’s agenda.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t an issue of free speech.

No one has the right to incite violence online. And Trump’s return to Twitter would be a major step back from the progress we’ve made toward halting the spread of his blatant lies.
