Hey John — Emma here! Now I know it’s a Sunday, and I’m sure the last thing you want to be doing is checking your inbox, so I promise I’ll be out of your hair in just a moment. Tonight marks the halfway point in the second quarter of the year, and it’s a pretty big fundraising deadline for our campaign. But to be completely honest, we still have quite a bit of ground to make up in order to hit our goal. In 2020, right-wing groups threw millions of dollars at our campaign to try to flip Lauren’s seat — and with just over 5,000 votes deciding that election, they got dangerously close. With national Republicans boasting record breaking fundraising numbers this time around, we can’t afford to be caught off guard. We have to be ready to fight back against every right-wing dollar spent and every attack launched against us — not only to reelect Lauren, but also to protect our Democratic majority so they can continue fighting for progress in Congress.
