In a 49-51 vote, the Senate failed to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law by not passing the Women's Health Protection Act.

In a matter of days or weeks, we could be living in a country where millions of people no longer have access to safe and legal abortion.

The need for Democratic, pro-choice candidates to defend our House majority could not be more clear. If the Supreme Court goes through with its plan to eliminate the constitutional right to abortion, a nationwide abortion ban may follow.
