John,
It’s not quite Thanksgiving, but as we prepare for the holiday, I’ve begun reflecting on the things I’m thankful for. Every year, I’m grateful for my loved ones, the opportunities that I have, and for the support of my friends and family.
But this year, I have a much larger community around me: The supporters of this campaign to flip California’s 8th District. So I wanted to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of this.
From the day we launched, it’s been humbling to see so many rally together behind our shared fight to bring change to this community that we all love. You’ve helped us build incredible momentum this year. And the truth is, we’ll need it to keep building it.
We’re going to face some difficult challenges, and flipping a traditionally red seat like CA-08 will require a historic grassroots effort. The only way we’ll do this is by sticking together through thick and thin.
A challenge we face today is that November has been a difficult fundraising month and we haven’t hit our monthly goal yet. Before we all sign off to celebrate, can you chip in a contribution of any amount to make sure we end November strong?
