Yesterday, thousands of our grassroots donors stepped up to boost our
campaign and help us counter Trump’s rally in Texas. Honestly, it was
incredible to watch.
But I want to be transparent with you: we ended up falling just $31,290
short of our $250,000 grassroots goal.
It was an ambitious goal, so I’m hoping we can finish the job and close

interests of Texans. Much like Trump, he prefers to spend his time on
radical political stunts and distractions, instead of tackling real
problems that keep people up at night.
Beto has what it takes to win. But that means this is shaping up to be the
most expensive — and competitive — gubernatorial election in Texas
history. And Abbott’s team has said that they plan to spend $100,000,000
against Beto.
